    KNOW BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

What every Taro product includes—and what varies.

    Included in every product
Mobile data plus a temporary mobile number that can receive ordinary calls.
    Varies by product
Receiving SMS, sending SMS and making outgoing calls. Use the four fields on each card to compare.
    Verification codes
Carriers do not guarantee bank or OTP messages. Keep your personal SIM available for verification codes.
    Regional coverage
A regional product may cover many countries while issuing a number from one country. The product page names that country.

    BEFORE YOU CHOOSE A PLAN

Check your phone in three steps.

No website can detect eSIM support for you — not ours and not anyone else’s. These three checks take about a minute and they are the same three every eSIM needs.

    1. Confirm your phone supports eSIM

Look for an “Add eSIM” option in your phone’s settings. The exact path differs by phone.

      iPhone or iPad

Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service) → look for “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan”.

      Samsung Galaxy

Settings → Connections → SIM Manager → look for “Add eSIM” or “Add mobile plan”.

      Pixel and other Android

Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → look for “Download a SIM instead?”. Menu names vary by manufacturer and Android version.

Alternative check: dial *#06# — if an EID number appears, the phone has eSIM hardware. Some phones show the EID under Settings → About phone → Status.

    2. Confirm your phone is carrier-unlocked

A carrier-locked phone can refuse to install or use another plan, even when the eSIM hardware is present. Only your original carrier can confirm and unlock it.

    3. Check for regional model limits

A few models sold in specific regions ship without working eSIM support — mainland-China iPhone models are the widely reported case. If your phone was bought in mainland China, ask us before you buy.

    Choosing between plans.

Do all Taro plans include a real phone number?

Yes. All 0 products include a real mobile number that can take ordinary calls. What that number can do with SMS differs by plan.

Can the number receive bank verification codes?

Treat it as no. 14 of 41 plans include no SMS at all, and where SMS is included the carriers do not guarantee OTP delivery. Keep your own SIM for codes.

Does validity start before I travel?

On some plans, yes. 0 of 0 products begin counting when the eSIM is delivered, purchased or first used—not when you land. Buy close to departure.

Is the data allowance daily or one total balance?

Both exist. 9 of 41 plans reset the allowance every day; the rest run one balance until it is used. The Data column shows which is which.

Can I call home from the travel number?

15 of 41 plans include some international calling—either included minutes or a calling credit. The International column shows the exact allowance.

On a regional plan, which country is my number from?

A regional roaming plan issues a number from one specific country in the region, not from every covered country. 0 of 0 products use local connectivity instead. Check the product page for its number country.
