WHEN A CALLBACK MATTERS

Give travel contacts a number they can actually call.

Hotels, drivers, hosts and local services sometimes need an ordinary callback—not another app. Use the trip number for that travel contact instead of your personal number.

01

BOOKING FORMS

Enter the trip number.

Use it when a reservation asks for a phone number.

02

CALLBACKS

Hotels and drivers can call.

Choose a call-enabled plan when ordinary calls matter.

03

PERSONAL NUMBER

Keep it for everyday life.

Use the trip number for short-term travel contacts.

THE PRACTICAL DIFFERENCE

Data-only connects your apps. Taro adds a trip number.

With data-only, a booking or callback still needs another phone number. Taro number plans include one for the trip; call and SMS support is shown on each plan.

INCLUDED WITH BOTH Mobile data for maps, messages and booking apps

DATA-ONLY ESIM

Find a destination plan

THREE CHECKS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Make sure the plan fits the whole trip.

A useful number plan is the one whose coverage, contact channels and timing match what will actually happen.

  1. 01

    Search every stop

Check the country itself and any regional plan that covers all destinations on your itinerary.

  2. 02

    Match the contact channel

Confirm whether you need incoming calls, outgoing calls, SMS, or simply a separate number for a phone field.

  3. 03

    Check timing and device fit

Review when validity starts, how delivery works, and whether your unlocked phone supports eSIM.

BEFORE YOU RELY ON A PLAN

Questions that change the decision.

Open the exact plan when a call, SMS, activation date or country is critical to the trip.

Ask about your itinerary: support@taromobile.com
Does every listed Taro eSIM include a phone number?

Yes. Every listed Taro plan includes a number, but its country or type, call allowance and SMS capability vary. Check the exact product before relying on it.

Do all Taro numbers support the same calls and SMS?

No. Incoming calls, outgoing calls, SMS direction and allowances vary by plan. A number badge alone does not confirm a capability; read the exact call and SMS details on the plan.

Can a local number receive SMS verification codes?

Do not assume that it can. SMS support, short-code access and verification-code delivery depend on the individual plan and sender. Check the exact product details before relying on it.

When does an eSIM plan start?

Activation timing varies. A plan may begin at email delivery, installation, redemption or first eligible network connection. The applicable trigger should be reviewed on the product page before purchase.

How do I know whether my phone can use the eSIM?

Your device must support eSIM and normally needs to be network-unlocked. Confirm both conditions with your device settings, manufacturer or current carrier before purchase.

How will I receive the eSIM when a plan is available to buy?

After payment is confirmed, the digital eSIM and setup instructions are sent to the email address used for the order within 5 minutes. There is no physical SIM or shipping wait.

Why use a trip number instead of my personal number?

A hotel, driver, host or local service may need a number for a callback. The Taro trip number lets you provide a travel-specific contact instead of the number used by family, work and everyday accounts. This separates short-term travel contact; it does not hide your identity or stop someone from contacting the trip number. Calls and SMS vary by plan.
