Checkout to connected, in four steps.
No store, no plastic, no account. Check your phone once — the rest is a few taps.
Dial *#06# — an EID number means yes.
Only your original carrier can confirm and unlock it.
Note: some regional models — most often iPhones bought in mainland China — ship without eSIM. Unsure? Ask us first
Choose the destination and days.
Every card shows the same facts. Not on the card = not in the plan.
Total or daily, hotspot rules — and what "unlimited" does after its fair-use cap.
Available on selected plans; check the number country.
In / out shown separately, never a vague “voice”.
Install, first connection, or delivery email.
Pay once, get an email.
The QR code arrives by email within five minutes. No app, no shipping.
- One scan, one phone — it can't be reinstalled elsewhere
- Keep it private; don't post or forward it
- Starts-on-delivery plans: order close to your dates
Install it — two minutes on Wi-Fi.
Install ≠ activate — the plan starts on its own trigger. Pick your phone:
- Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service).
- Tap “Add eSIM” → “Use QR Code” and scan the code from our email.
- Label the new line “Taro Travel”.
- Keep your primary line settings unchanged.
- Turn the travel line on when your plan’s timing allows.
- Open Settings → Network & internet (or Connections) → SIMs.
- Choose “Add eSIM” / “Download a SIM instead?” and scan our QR code.
- Label the new eSIM “Taro Travel”.
- Menu names vary by brand — search “eSIM” in Settings if unsure.
- Select it for mobile data when you’re ready to use it.
Never delete the eSIM while troubleshooting — most profiles can't be downloaded twice.
Land, switch it on, get called.
Data connects on landing. Give the local number to the hotel, the driver, the form.
Keep your personal SIM active for verification codes.
Some plans need data roaming on; the card says so.
Check which line is selected before dialling out.
Nothing to cancel — the number simply stops.
- 1. Confirm you're inside the covered area.
- 2. Travel line on & selected for mobile data.
- 3. Re-check roaming, APN and network notes.
- 4. Airplane mode on-off, or restart once.
- 5. Still stuck? Email us your destination + phone model. Email us
Can I install before departure?
Yes — installing does not always start the plan. Check the card: some plans start on install, others on first connection or when we email the eSIM.
Should data roaming be on?
Follow the plan’s own note. Many travel eSIMs need roaming on for the travel line, while your personal line’s roaming should usually stay off.
Can I keep my personal SIM active?
Yes, on dual-SIM phones. Keep it for verification codes, and watch its roaming settings to avoid home-carrier charges.
Can I move the eSIM to another phone?
No — the QR code is for a single installation. Install it on the phone you are actually taking.
Should I delete it after the trip?
You can remove an expired profile, but never delete it while troubleshooting — most profiles can’t be downloaded twice.
Phone checked? You're two minutes from done.
